Flickr Video
Filed in Uncategorized, April 8, 2008, 9:46 pm by JoshI’ve been playing around with Flickr’s new video feature for about a week now. I think it’s good for people who shoot short form video and are Flickr users, but it might not be your cup of tea. I’ve embedded two example videos below.
The first is the Eee PC by ASUS.
This one is simply stirring some sugar in some iced tea. I love this one. I shot two more similar ones but this was my favorite of the two
New commenting system

I’ve settled on Disqus as the default commenting system here. Feel free to play around with it. I’m pretty happy with both the speed and the presentation.

This was just part of my joy today. All 14,000+ spammy blog comments have been purged and I’ve enlisted the help of Akismet & ReCaptcha to help from here on out. I know it’s a pain in the ass if you want to chime in, but so is delving through the myriad of shit that’s ended up on here.
I’m likely to drop in Disqus in the coming weeks as soon as I upgrade WordPress to the latest build and throw a new theme on.

Even the bad stuff at least LOOKS good. Unfortunately Vimeo hasn’t seemed to get over the hump of letting folks watch the HD version in embeds, so be sure to check out the original to get the full effect.
